Most fun outing ANWB 2023

The National Park de Biesbosch has been nominated for the best outing 2023! And not without reason. Hiking, biking, boating, canoeing and beaver spotting: it's all possible. The wet grassland of the Biesbosch is asking to be explored. With a canoe or from an electric tour boat or whisper boat you can see all the beauty from the water. For a different perspective, hiking trails abound. Experience nature, the rhythm of the tides and the peace and space that the Biesbosch has to offer.

Biesbosch MuseumEiland

De Biesbosch has a long cultural history. For years, people fought against the water there, and made their living harvesting reeds and willows. But the area has also been reclaimed, and given back to nature.

The Biesbosch MuseumEiland tells you all about the past, present and future of this unique freshwater tidal area.

The Efteling

Is the canoe not rocking wildly enough? The Efteling can be reached quickly and easily even by bicycle via two free ferries. Are you a real roller coaster fan, or do you prefer to dream away in the fairytale forest?

The Pannekoeckershuys

Drinks, soup, salads and, of course, pancakes. At this pancake house, in Den Hout or Zundert, you can eat anything while they offer you a unique experience. There are 6 rooms, each with its own theme, such as the King's Room, the Witch's Kitchen and the Boat House. Children can have a great time with a spacious playground, climbing cave, scavenger hunt and even a cinema.

Train ride

Book a train ride on the "Hank-0-Motief" through the land of Heusden and Altena and see the Biesbosch Line. The distinctive little train is located in Dussen. It is a fun way to explore the region. It is also possible for visitors in wheelchairs to travel along.

Nature Museum Brabant

With various exhibitions, you can easily spend an educational day in Tilburg, Brabant. Discover the seasons, the Ice Age, Your Brabant, My Brabant and Misfortunes and Misfortunes, among others.

The TextielMuseum and Museum De Pont, both located in Tilburg, have also been nominated for the most enjoyable outing of 2023.
