The Skazka Quartet, formed in 2020, is a new face in the Dutch quartet landscape. Skazka (скáзка) is the Russian word for fairy tale, and that is exactly what the quartet strives to do: tell stories. As winners of the Storioni Concours 2022, they played in several major Dutch venues last season. This season they can be heard at the Concertgebouw, among other venues. All four young musicians have earned their spurs in the chamber music world and now combine their love of string quartet in the Skazka Quartet.
