"From the Other Side"
From the Rijkswal on the Woerkum side, looking across the water to the other side of the Merwede, the view of the Gorinchem fortified town, dominated by the mill De Hoop and the tower of the Grote Kerk, is inescapable. It is the water that separates and connects the two sides. To give shape to the connection with the other side, KunstinAltena organizes the art exhibition "From the Other Side" in 't Kruithuis Arsenal in Woudrichem on the weekend of Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October 2024.
Ten artists from across the Merwede are exhibiting their works of art in which they, each in their own way, manage to capture and represent that which inspires them with their talents. To represent for themselves, but also for all those unknown others who want to reflect on their works of art.
The opening will be performed Saturday at 1 p.m. by Piet Augustijn.
The exhibition is open both days from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
