Wim Daniëls: "I am a writer of all kinds of books. I also perform in theaters with theater lectures and cabaret shows, and occasionally I present a TV program (Het dorp, together with Huub Stapel, and Nederland op Film). With Kasper Boon I made a board game: Het grote taalspel.'
Wim Daniëls (1954) is perhaps the Netherlands' best-known linguist. He is the author of over 120 books on language, literary collections of short stories, dictionaries, poetry and informative books on a wide variety of subjects. There is actually no subject he could not write a book about, with insightful theories and in accessible language for all target groups: adults, young people and children.
