You have those songwriters who seem to have a direct connection between heart, hands and voice, transforming feelings into lyrics and music without filter. Martijn Kuijten is such a singer-songwriter (Musicmaker magazine).
For Kuijten, the past year was all about Gone Glory. Under the direction of Frank van Osch, together with Björn van der Doelen and Ruud van den Boogaard, he made nine episodes for Omroep Brabant TV about headstrong people of vrûûger who were not really in step. In the coming period the focus will be more on the release of his first solo album, a particularly candid work released in late 2023.

Songs in the folk, Americana tradition about the drinker, the thinker, the dreamer and his dream that have one thing in common: A good story!
